Charles Duru Death – A devastating motorcycle accident in Lumpkin County, Georgia, claimed the life of Charles Duru, a 24-year-old student at the University of North Georgia (UNG). The accident occurred on Tuesday evening when Duru’s motorcycle collided with a car at the intersection of Barlow Road and Morrison Moore Parkway.

The driver of the car, Edwin Miranda, 21, from Cumming, Georgia, was subsequently charged with vehicular homicide in the second degree. According to the Georgia State Patrol, Miranda turned his vehicle into the path of Duru’s motorcycle, causing the fatal collision.

Duru, a resident of Dahlonega, Georgia, was a beloved member of the UNG community. His loss has deeply saddened friends, family, and fellow students. The university has expressed its condolences to Duru’s family and is offering support to those affected by the tragedy.
